Co Working Tuesdays - get stuff done!

Alison Randle • 14 November 2022

Commit to making time for YOUR priorities

Tuesdays, 9-12 on Zoom

How do you fancy creating a few hours each week to just get stuff done?

No calls or emails, just uninterrupted time to make headway on the list of things you really want to get to but keep finding other people’s “urgent” things keep getting in the way.

Mark yourself busy on your calendar and join me on Tuesday mornings.

We will do three rounds of deep work sessions, each 45 minutes long, with attention to proper breaks in between. You can come for as much or as little as you want.

Why 45 minutes? Because this is a highly effective way of working (there have been studies). I used to do 50 minutes, but that’s a bit too full on for me and I find I get depleted if I work too long at that pace.

How it works:

We will briefly say hello at 9am, and you can write you intentions in the chat box.

I personally find the word ‘accountability’ a bit of a kryptonite word, but if it is what you need, then you will get it, although I don't do detentions & deprivations if you don't do what you intended...

I prefer to put emphasis on feeling the celebratory endorphins as I get stuff ticked off, so expect a bit of a high five, or raising of the water glasses & mugs of cold tea as people share what they have achieved. If you don't achieve what you intended to do, you can reflect on the reasons why, so that over time you can gain confidence in your ability to set and achieve your intentions.

Timetable:

09:00                  Say hello, set intentions

X:10 – X:55          In session – do what you can to stay in place, without interruption.

If you join or leave during the session please do it silently, understanding that nobody will say                               Hi! or Bye! during a session

X:55                     Stand up, shut your eyes, shake the tree & breathe, then step away from the desk for 10 mins

11.55ish               Say farewell or stay for the CWC Community weekly Q&A, discussion and networking                                              session - in the same Zoom room

Aren't you worth this?
