I have so much to do...
... but I just can't start!

I had noticed them exhibiting signs of being frazzled, so I dropped them a note and invited them into my next Tuesday (virtual) co working session. “I can come for about an hour” they said. After a couple of rounds of messaging I was expecting them to come in part way through and drop out again after an hour, something which is completely acceptable.
What actually happened… they arrived at the beginning, stayed for the whole thing and cleared some important work. This included some emails of the crunchy, uninviting sort. By 12.20 this busy, freelancing person had cleared three solid hours of work and had enjoyed a conversation with other people on the call.
So what is this co working thing I do all about?
What I facilitate are distraction-free, deep work focus sessions, with celebrations, breaks and movement, bending time to help people really get shit done. Significantly, any chatting is done afterwards, not during.
What I hadn’t appreciated as I devised and evolved the structure and methodology over several months, is just how inclusive this space is. It’s neuroinclusive and particularly helpful for the glorious time blind people who struggle to choose what to work on and when etc.
Just last week, one of the people who have been a member since I began in 2022 was saying how their general desk resilience and overall working habits have improved - the framework we use on Tuesday mornings has become second nature.
