Back to basics: Organisation Purpose - staying true to it in a busy world
Why this back to basics focus session on 'Organisation Purpose'?
It's been a challenging time, these last few months and it's been overwhelming on so many levels. Do you even remember why you started volunteering or working for your organisation? With so many of us in survival mode at the moment, it is all too easy to get distracted away from what the organisation was originally set up to do. 'Getting back to normal' isn't a realistic goal, but it is a great time to go back to basics. Looking at 'Organisation Purpose' seems like a great place to start.
This 1 hour interactive workshop session is for people who manage volunteer-run organisations (charitable/non-profit/community/sports clubs etc) either on the Board/Committee or as a senior member of staff. This will be a confidential space where we can take time out to consider how best to operate under trying conditions.
By the end of the session you will have:
- spent time focusing on your organisation's purpose;
- looked at what's distracting you;
- considered ways to manage those distractions so your efforts bring most benefit to the people, animals and places that you originally stepped up to help; and
- some actions and a time frame for implementing them
Included in the price are:
- the workshop
- support materials
- opportunity to network with peers
Exclusive bonuses:
- to help you to take action you have the opportunity to book a 30 minute follow up 121 session with Alison, for the special, one-off price of just £17.
- You will also have the opportunity to join the 'Your Smart Prospects' Facebook group - a closed community space for practitioners like you to share experiences, learning and insight.
